Choice of straight knife, quick change, and spiral cutterheads
are available.

INFEED ROLLER:
Corrugated, 75mm diameter.

Smooth surface, solid type, 56mm diameter.

(2) adjustable from 0 to 0.040" above table.

PRESSURE BAR:
Cast iron, with spring tension and mounted concentric to
cutterhead providing exact tolerance to cutting circle.

CHIP BREAKER:
Ductile iron, spring loaded, sectional type, with independent
1/4" yield. Sections are mounted on a steel shaft just forward
of knife-cutting circle. |

QUICK CHANGE
STRAIGHT KNIFE CUTTERHEAD
The safety type quick change straight knife cutterhead is
machined from mild carbon steel. Changing of knife inserts is
quickly and conveniently accomplished by simply loosening the
gib set screws and tapping them down. The cutterhead is fitted
with 4 high speed steel knives. T.C.T. knives are optional. |

SPIRAL
CUTTERHEAD (opt.)
The planer is equipped with an oversized spiral cutterhead.
This provides high chip removal rate, superior surface finish
and extremely low noise while cutting. Manufactured from alloy
steel, the spiral cutterhead is precision machined, tempered,
dynamically balanced and precision ground. Four-edge Tungsten
carbide knife inserts are fitted in the helical slots of the
cutterhead. (15 x 15 x 2.5mm solid carbide knives) |

DUST HOOD (opt.)
The dust hood with 6" diameter outlet is provided at the outfeed
end of the planer for connection to a dust system. |

SECTIONAL INFEED
ROLLER
The 75mm diameter sectional infeed roller is corrugated. Rubber
plugs are fitted in the cast iron sections. Each section has an
independent yield of 1/4", making it possible to feed strip
stock of varying thicknesses without dangerous kickback. |

CENTRALIZED
CONTROL PANEL
All motion controls of the planer are located at an easily
accessible position. Feed speed can be read on the control
panel, and can be adjusted by simply turning a regulator knob. |
