SPRIAL CUTTERHEAD The series of planer is equipped with an oversized sprial cutterhead. This provides high chip removal rate, superior surface finish and extremely low noise while cutting. manufactured from alloy steel, the sprial cutterhead is precision machined, tempered, dynamically balanced and precision ground. Fouredge tungsten carbide knife inserts are fitted in the helical slots of the cutterhead.
